WHO WE ARE
Justin Britton is a graduate of the Architectural Technology program at Confederation College. During his 9 years with Form Studio Architects, Justin worked closely with well-known local architects on a variety of residential, commercial and light industrial projects. His area of expertise is the production of working drawings and schematic designs, and he has a keen sustainable residential construction.
With over 10 years working experience as a designer in the building industry, Justin is now bringing his many talents to the position of Lead Designer at Elevated Drafting & Designs. His passion for knowledge, his unwavering work ethic, and his commitment to client satisfaction will ensure that your designs make it to the next level!
WHAT WE DO
1. Preliminary Design
This process includes customer consultation, concept development, preliminary design walkthrough, and 3D architectural views. We work with you to determine the key features of the interior/exterior design, optimal functionality for your space, and best building placement for your site.
2. Design Finalization
We go over any changes that need to be made to the design to ensure that you are happy with the layout and overall look. We discuss specific details with you, including window placement, wall height, structural support, roof lines, and symmetry of the space.
3. Building Drawings
Once the design meets your approval, we begin drafting the drawings for your project. Upon completion you will receive detailed construction drawings specific to your requirements, whether for a building permit, tendering/pricing, or project coordination.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
- Any information that you can offer during your initial consultation is both helpful and welcome! This includes pictures, concept ideas, inspiration boards, and even rough hand drawings.
- Based on previous projects, please allow at least 2-3 weeks for the design process (including changes and finalization) and 2-3 weeks for drafting of construction drawings.
